Vince Gill is known for his legendary music career, but he's taken up a side job with the Nashville Predators in a hilarious new video.

Gill is a huge fan of his hometown hockey team, so much so that he recently took up a job in the gift shop selling the team's merchandise. The country singer shows off his sense of humor in a video where he's helping customers look for the perfect gift at the Nashville Predators store inside Bridgestone Arena.

“Things are getting a little tough around here. They’re not buying my records much anymore. And I wanted to be a Predator, but I was too old and fat, and I can’t skate," Gill jokes in the video about his new job. Wearing a Nashville Predators staff T-shirt, the country legend is seen walking around the Predators gift shop, shirt hook in hand, ready to help fans with all their merchandise needs.

"I'm late for my break and I'm not happy about it," Gill says at one point as he tries to find the correct shirt size for one customer. But he really gets into the groove of things when he poses for a fan photo wearing a vibrant gold jacket flashing the Predators' logo with a shiny gold hat to match. "First day on the job and I've got this wired," he says confidently.

Gill performed at the 2016 Kennedy Center Honors, where he teamed up with a group of rock stars including Ringo Starr and Bob Seger to pay tribute to the Eagles. The country star has a busy 2017 touring across America through December.
