It turns out "Vice" isn't just a song, it's a real-life confession. At a recent concert in Indiana, Miranda Lambert told the audience she turned to drinking more in the aftermath of her painful split from Blake Shelton.

Lambert and her band performed in Evansville to launch her Highway Vagabond Tour on Jan. 26, and during her set, Lambert treated her fans to a performance of a new song titled "Ugly Lights," which she admitted was inspired by the aftermath of her divorce.

"I got divorced last year so I started drinking a little extra," she told the crowd, raising her glass in salute and adding, "S--t happens, you know?"

"Anyway, I moved to Nashville and I started spending too much time at the Midtown bars, and I realized that I was taking an Uber for the third day in a row to pick up my Jeep -- I drive a Jeep Grand Cherokee," she said. "I smelled like smoke and I was wearing clothes from yesterday and I was like, 'This is three days in a row. This is probably a problem.'"

She wrote the song with frequent collaborator Natalie Hemby and included it on her latest album, The Weight of These Wings. Check out the performance in the video above.

The Highway Vagabond Tour kicked off Jan. 26 in Evansville, and wraps in mid-March. Aubrie Sellers and Old Dominion are accompanying Lambert as her support acts. Lambert is also slated for several festivals and headlining shows in the summer of 2017, including the Taste of Country Music Festival in June.
