A sparse crowd saw the Bethlehem Academy Cardinals come back from a 28-20 deficit at halftime to defeat the Cannon Falls Bombers 55-44.

BA was led by Alex Bongers, who had a great night with 21 points, Damon Trump had 16 and Avery Hunt had 15 to lead the Cards, and Brandon Trump and Jack Clark each contributed 2 points. Damon, Avery and Alex were the State Farm Insurance agents of Faribault players of the game.

Unofficially, BA shot 24-58 from the field and 3-7 from the line. Cannon Falls was 16-40, 8-10 from the line. Cannon Falls was lead by Cobie Vagts with 11 and Ryan Dirckx with 9.

The Cardinals (4-4) will face United South Central on Friday, and Cannon Falls (2-7) hosts Zumbrota-Mazeppa in a make-up game from December on Thursday. That game will be on KDHL 920 and kdhlradio.com with Gordy Kosfeld.
