Bethlehem Academy in Faribault, Mn. announced their 2023 Homecoming Court for this week's activities including a parade and football game Friday.

The game against Kenyon-Wanamingo will be broadcast on KDHL Radio, 920 AM, 97.9 FM and on the FREE KDHL app worldwide with Randy Sobrack on the call.

Coverage begins 6:45 p.m. from Bruce Smith Field in Faribault. Kick-off is 7:00 p.m.

Both Head Coaches say they have enjoyed what has become a rivalry between the two schools with most years games being very exciting.

Kenyon-Wanamingo is undefeated.  Bethlehem Academy has one loss.

Both teams have shown a great ability to score with the Cardinals averaging 38 points per game, the Knights 42.4.

Defensively K-W has allowed an average of 11.8, BA 16.6.

The Cardinals have gone up against two state ranked teams while Kenyon-Wanamingo is getting to the meat of their schedule this week.

BA is coming off a thrilling 38-34 win over Goodhue in Wildcats country.

Senior quarterback Elliott Viland was 23 of 35 passing for 297 yards and 5 touchdowns.

He also was second on the team with 10 total tackles including 7 solo.

Hudson Dillon caught 11 passes for 102 yards and two touchdowns and scored 3 two point conversions.  He had an interception on defense.

Derrick Sando rushed for 76 yards and had 5 catches for 78 yards and two touchdowns.

Oliver Linnemann caught 6 passes for 112 yards and a score.

Both teams are in the MId-Southeast League East Division where the Knights and Fillmore Central remain undefeated.  Bethlehem Academy and Goodhue each have a loss.

Coronation of Homecoming King is Friday, October 6, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in Van Orsow Auditorium at the conclusion of a Noon pep fest.

The King and Court will lead a Homecoming parade at 1:30 p.m.

The parade route begins at the BA parking lot then goes:

  • North on 3rd Avenue to 3rd Street NW
  • East on 3rd Street NW to Central Avenue
  • South on Central Avenue to 1st. Street NW
  • West on 1st Street NW to 2nd Avenue NW
  • South on 2nd Avenue NW to 1st Street SW
  • West on 1st Street SW back to BA parking lot
