The Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights swept the Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms in the Garden Thursday night.

Scores were 25-9, 25-14, 25-17.

Strong serving was again a key for the Knights with 11 ace serves.  Setter Carmen Nerison again did an excellent job of doling out assists evenly to hitters.

Nora Rechtzigel, senior, led the offense with 11 kills according to the Knights statistics.  I had her with 2 hitting errors on the knight, 3 ace serves, 3 asssts and 6 digs.

Josie Flom, senior and Audrey Haugen, sophomore, each tallied 6 kills.  Flom had 11 digs only 1 error and Haugen finished with 2 errors.

Emilie Jarvis, sophomore,  led K-W with 4 ace serves and had 11 digs.

Rachel Ryan, senior libero had 2 assists and 13 digs.

Anna Syverson, senior, 2 ace serves, 5 kills, 6 digs.

Totals were 34 kills, 10 hitting errors.  14 total errors for Kenyon-Wanamingo.

Blooming Prairie was not on offense much all night.  They ended up with 17 total kills, 18 total errors, 2 ace serves, 4 service errors.

Addison Doocy led the Awesome Blossoms offense with 6 kills.  The 5'11 senior had a pair of solo blocks also.

Ella Smith, 5'10 junior, came off the bench to spark her team for 3 kills, all in the second set,

The Knights participate in the Class A Volleyball Showcase tournament at the Volleyball Warehouse in Burnsville this weekend.

K-W Head Coach Tracty Erlandson told KDHL the pool her team is in will challenge them greatly with top-ranked Minneota in it.
