KDHL has volleyball broadcasts scheduled Thursday, August 21, and Friday, August 22, 2025 featuring some excellent teams.

The Northfield Raiders ran the table in the Big Nine last season.  They did have a number of key players graduate, however with some very good talent taking the floor the Raiders will probably battle for a Big Nine repeat.

Last season Northfield finally competed in a section without any Lakeville schools but still fell short of state when Stewartville won the Section 1AAA Tournament.

The Raiders begin their season Thursday, August 21, 2025 at the Farmington Tigers from the always powerful South Suburban Conference.

Our coverage on KDHL 920 AM, FREE KDHL app worldwide starts 6:45 p.m. with first serve scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

Our Friday match features two Section 1AA teams going toe-to-toe when Cannon Falls makes the long and winding road trip to Caledonia.

Chatfield is the defending Section 1AA Champion.

The Minnesota Volleyball Coaches Association preseason polls for each class give Section 1 teams some props with two teams from the section in each class.
