Teen Injured In Crash On Highway 21 In Faribault Thursday Night
A 16-year-old from Northfield suffered what the Minnesota State Patrol described as non-life threatening injuries after a crash on Highway 21 at Highway 60 (4th Street) last night in Faribault.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol last night at 10:06 P.M. a 1997 Buick LeSabre being driven by a 16-year-old Northbound on Highway 21 when a 2008 Kia driven by 57-year-old Steven Wilson of Faribault who was traveling Southbound on Highway 21 crashed into the Buick.
According to the report, Wilson was turning left onto Eastbound Highway 60 at the time when the collision occurred. Wilson was uninjured in the crash, a 16-year-old passenger from Northfield in the Buick was treated for non-life threatening injuries at District One hospital. It is unknown if the 16-year-old driver of the Buick was injured in the crash.
Road conditions were dry at the time. Also responding to the crash were the Faribault Police Department, Rice County Sheriff's Office, and the Faribault Fire Department.
