The Minnesota High School Baseball Coaches Association Preseason rankings include some south central and southeastern Minnesota teams.

Lyle/Pacelli and Southland out of Section One are ranked #6 and #9 in Class A.  Cherry is on top and plays at Kenyon-Wanaminigo next weekend, April 12, 2025 as part of a trip to get some games in.

Defending champion Springfield is rated #3 to start the season.

Class 2AA  defending title holder Rockford is #1.  Belle Plaine is #5.  Hiawatha Valley  and #League favorites Zumbrota-Mazeppa and Cannon Falls are rated #9 respectively.  Caledonia is #10.

3A defending champ Totino-Grace is also on top.  Mankato East is #3, Mankato West #6 and Northfield #9 out of the Big Nine.

Class 4A 2024 Champion East Ridge is ranked #8 in the preseason Minnesota High School Baseball Coaches Association polls.  Wayzata is #1.

Farmington #4 and Prior Lake #10 are the only South Suburban Conference teams in the top ten.
