The Faribault Bethlehem Academy Cardinals traveled to Southland Monday for a makeup game and came home with a 6-2 victory.

Randolph rolled over New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva 14-0 in another Gopher Confeerence contest in New Richland.

Cardinals Morgan Wilson, pitcher, senior allowed just 3 hits, walked nobody and struck out 12 batters while throwing 89 pitches, 64 strikes.

The top of the order for Bethlehem Academy. seniors Anna Tobin and Anna Cohen had a combined 4 hits, 4 RBI, scoring 4 runs.  Both had home runs.  Wilson added a RBI double. Liv Glumack. senior, added 2 hits and an RBI.

The Cardinals improve to 6-3 and host Triton in another makeup game Tuesday with the game scheduled for broadcast on KDHL.  Coverage starts 4:15pm.

Kenyon-Wanamingo fell to Wabasha-Kellogg 14-4 in a non-conference six inning game.

W-K cranked out 11 hits, K-W countered with 7 and had 7 errors in the game.

Allina Mendoza hammered a double among her two hits.  Eva Jacobson added a pair of hits and RBI.

Anna Osterag threw 122 pitches, 68 strikes with 2 strikeouts, 4 walks, 11 hits allowed.  6 of the 14 runs were earned.

In Big Nine Conference action Owatonna rolled over Red Wing  10-0 in five innings under the lights in Owatonna.

Jess smith threw a 4 hitter with 3 strikeouts, no walks, throwing 66 pitches, 44 strikes, facing 3 batters over the minimum.

Smith also had 2 hits, 1 RBI.  Brooklyn Nelson clubbed a grand slam home run, Leighton Nelson tallied 3 hits including a triple with 2 RBI.

High school baseball teams enjoyed the perfect weather also.  Northfield got by the Orono Spartans in Raiders country 2-0.

Wade Gilbertson went the distance for Northfield with +8 strikeouts, no walks, 2 hits allowed,

The Raiders were 2 of 3 in stolen bases.  Ryan Cahoon cracked a double for an RBI, Seth Thompson collected two hits and an RBI.

Northfield is 7-3 on the season.
