Bethlehem Academy pitcher Morgan Wilson threw a 3-hit shutout and clubbed a solo homer in the Cardinals 9-0 win over Triton in Faribault Tuesday night.

Wilson struck out 11 Cobras while throwing 71 pitches. 55 strikes and did not walk a batter.  Wilson was a triple away from hitting for the cycle.

The Cardinals collected 17 hits in the game, 7 of them in the third inning when they jumped to a 6-0 lead.

#9 hitter Kaylin Katra hit a single, Anna Tobin followed with a RBI double, Anna Cohen got a single.  Morgan Wilson clobbered a 2-run double.  Liv Glumack hammered a 2-run home run to center.   Sarah Tobin got a single up the middle.  Jenna Lippert followed with a single  Jocelyn Simones executed a bunt that resulted in a throwing error.

Following a pop out and strike out Triton intentionally walked Anna Tobin to load the bases, a fielder's choice ended the onslaught.

Wilson opened the 4th inning with a single, her courtesy runner Quinn Wray-Raabolle scored on a Sarah Tobin single.

The Cardinals looked like they might end the game by the 10 run rule in the 6th inning when they had the bases loaded with one out after scoring their 8th and 9th runs.

Wilson opened the 6th with a home run to left that left the yard almost before I could say it was a homer.  Glumack singled, Sarah Tobin singled.  Eventually Evelina Caldera would hit a RBI singe,

Triton got out of the inning when the red hot hitting Anna Tobin who had a double, two singles and intentional walk previously hit a sky ball caught in center.

Cobras pitcher Ally Knutson threw 111 pitches, 68 strikes, with 3 walks, 5 strikeouts.

Bethlehem Academy is now 8-3 on the season and hosts Blooming Prairie Thursday.  Triton fell to 2-11, with Janesville -Waldorf-Pemberton visiting Dodge Center Thursday.
