Faribault Heritage Days is one of the highlights of summer, and the annual local festival will soon be celebrated again. Faribault Heritage Days will take place June 15-19 with a plethora of offerings to keep the whole family entertained.

The event boasts a craft and vendor show, soap box car races, a carnival, Heritage Hustle 5K, historic tours, family fun, the grand parade and more. We’ll be telling you all about the events as we get closer to celebration, but right now, let’s go back in time and see what part of the festivities looked like back in 1984. Previously, I share Part One and Part Two of the home video footage found on YouTube of the 1984 parade.

The two clips below show the 4-H club, a band, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. We also see clowns, the Shriners band, and the Shriner motorcycle show, a wagon, a train float, the Faribault High School Marching Band and several other floats pass by.
