Faribault Heritage Days is one of the highlights of summer and the annual local festival will soon be celebrated again. Faribault Heritage Days will take place from June 15-19 with a plethora of offerings to keep the whole family entertained.

The event boasts a craft and vendor show, soap box car races, a carnival, Heritage Hustle 5K, historic tours, the grand parade and more. We'll be telling you all about the events as we get closer to celebration, but right now, let's go back in time and see what part of the festivities looked like back in 1984. I recently shared footage from the 1984 Memorial Day Parade, and thought it might be fun to also see what Heritage Days looked like that year.

Part one begins with the Color Guard, and also includes the mayor of Faribault going past, as well as a few horse and buggy sets, classic cars and more. Take a step back into time with this piece of Faribault history preserved in video format.
