Fundraiser for Faribault Family Fire Victims
Organizers are having a fundraiser Wednesday, March 18, 2026 for the David and Carolyn Jones family.
The couple and their three children escaped the home they were renting during a fire that destroyed the home and took everything they owned on February 18, 2026.
Dustin Dienst, Faribault Fire Chief, reported on KDHL thank heavens it's rare when a home is a total loss, but in this case the home was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived on the scene.
J-Mo's Bowl in Faribault his hosting the fundraiser from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. with lots of ways to help raise funds for the Jones family.
A Sloppy Joe dinner is $10 with all proceeds going to the family.
Ryan Burr and his wife Amanda are the owners of J-Mo's Bowl and hope the community comes out in full force to raise funds for the fire victims.
Imagine yourself being in the same situation. In a matter of moments their home and all their belongings were gone.
The family now is rebuilding their lives from the ground up.
The Burrs ask us to consider donating to help this "loving family during this incredibly difficult time."
They only had the clothes they were wearing when they left their burning home so donations will help replace essentials, secure housing, and begin again.
Every contribution, whatever size, will make a meaningful difference.
Together we can make a difference.
In addition to the delicious Sloppy Joe dinner, ten percent of any refreshments sold will be donated.
Bring the family for bowling with 25% of lineage donated.
Silent Auctions will also be held.
If you can't attend please consider still making a donation to help our Faribault neighbors.
Any questions please phone Ryan (507)-323-4227 or Brice {507)-829-1760.
J-Mo's Bowl is located at 1802 4th Street Northwest in Faribault.
