Weekend Roundup April 22-24

The weekend is here! And yesterday's rains have turned to sunshine today. There is plenty to do this weekend, and if you're like many Minnesotans, all of your weekend activities will be set to the music of the late Prince.

• The American Association of University Women (AAUW) will be holding their annual Book Sale at the Faribo West Mall in Faribault on Friday, Saturday and Sunday during mall hours.
• The Merlin Players present “Farragut North” at the Paradise Center for the Arts in Faribault with showings Friday and Saturday at 7:30PM and Sunday at 2PM.
• A fundraiser will be Saturday to support the Traveling Wall Vietnam Memorial coming to Faribault. The event will be at the American Legion with a motor bike ride starting at 11AM, a classic car roll in from 12-3PM, and a 5 Band Extravaganza beginning at 5PM.
• Give the gift of life by giving the gift of blood. There will be a blood drive at the Faribault Elks Lodge from 11-4 on Sunday.
• While not in our immediate area, there are several events honoring Prince going on this weekend.
