Dundas plays Minneapolis Cobras 1:30 p.m. in Delano Sunday just before the Faribault game is scheduled against New Ulm to be carried on KDHL, 920 AM, 97.9 FM, FREE KDHL app.

The 100th Minnesota State Amateur Baseball Tournament is being held in Delano, Dassel, Litchfield and Waconia.

St. Patrick will play Saturday, August 26, 2023 and Dundas will play Sunday, August 27, 2023.

Faribault enters the State Tournament with a 23-11 record.

The #1 seed Lakers host #2 Union Hill at 1:00 p.m. Sunday for the Region 3C title. The winner also receives a bye the opening weekend of MBA State Tournament.

Cannon Falls is in the Region 5C title game against Austin in Red Wing Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. Winner goes to state and skips the opening weekend.

Faribault improved to 8-6 and travels to Montgomery Friday while St. Patrick dropped to 7-6 and entertains Miesville Friday night at 7:30 p.m.

The State Amateur Class C Tournament has games in Faribault, Dundas and Miesville the opening weekend.

The Lakers host Webster Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m. with the winner clinching a spot at state and the loser ending their season. Union Hill hosts Veseli in the other Wednesday Elimination Bracket game at 7:30 p.m. with the victor going to state.

There are a total of 31 teams in Class B with 16 advancing to the MBA State Tournament. Class C has 218 total teams with 48 participating in the MBA State Tournament the final two weekends in August before champions are determined on Labor Day. Sites this year are Faribault, Dundas and Miesville.
