Ruth’s House Fundraiser in Faribault is Sunday

Tonic Sol-Fa, the Minnesota acapella group is coming to Northfield Sunday, November 3, 2019 with some of the proceeds donated to Ruth's House of Hope in Faribault.  The concert begins 4:00 p.m. at Northfield Middle School, 2200 Division Street South in Northfield.  Tickets are $20.

Suzanne Fox and Brooke Vargarson will be guests on today's KDHL AM Minnesota program at 9:30 a.m. to give us more details about the event and of course about the work of Ruth's House.

Ruth's House of Hope, Inc,. was founded in 2003 with a mission of providing help and hope for women and children in crisis.  Ruth's House is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and a registered Minnesota charity.

The Ruth's House website states. "Our clients may face homelessness due to domestic violence, poverty, addiction, health challenges or other issues.  We believe everyone deserves safe, permanent housing so we offer:

• Emergency/transitional shelter for women and families in the Rice County area
• Permanent supportive housing for families through a grant from HUD"
