Paradise Center for the Arts March Events Highlighted on KDHL
Representatives of the Paradise Center for the Arts are scheduled to be guests on today's KDHL AM Minnesota program at 9:30 a.m. I believe we will have a phone guest involved with Comedy Sportz.
There is a student arts show this weekend. Merlin Players auditions are this Saturday and Sunday at the Paradise from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Art classes also continue this week with open clay Tuesdays and painting tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 p.m.
Saturday, March 21 at 7:30pm Adult $16 | Child 12 & Under $9 Join The Merlin Players as they present songs and scenes from 25 years of entertaining southern Minnesota. Founding members and new members as well will share the best of the musicals and straight shows. PLUS Doug Madow is on the piano!
Saturday, March 28 at 7:30pm Member $20 | Non-Member $25 | Student $12 Power vocalists Dianna Parks and Mary Lieser return to the Paradise stage after-back to-back sellouts to bring us, Crazy On You – A Tribute to HEART. Heart broke barriers and turned the rock and roll world on its ear with Top 10 albums spanning nearly five decades. Their timeless hits like “Barracuda” and “Crazy on You” are recognizable within the first few notes, and are just a sampling of a long catalog of hi/ts. This tribute is lead by Minnesota rockers Mary Lieser and Dianna Parks who have graced our stage with other sell-out audiences for tributes Linda Ronstadt (Parks), ABBA, and Aretha Franklin. Joining them in the band are Kevin Carey and Tim Dallman on guitar, Michael Carlucci on bass, Brock Besse on keys, and Jay Peterson on drums. You will want to get your tickets early.
