Tuesday morning I was down at the Owatonna FFA appreciation breakfast by 6 in the morning. I had a number of sponsored FFA interviews to do on our sister station KRFO in Owatonna. It sure is fun hanging around and talking with great kids involved in the FFA. It was nice to see many Owatonna High School teachers stop by for breakfast. FFA members do miss classes sometimes to go to different events and judging contests. That means it takes cooperation from other staff members and sometimes extra work.

Many FFA chapters in our listening area sponsor an appreciation breakfast to thank teachers, parents, business and other supporters of the FFA program. The ag teacher and adviser cannot run a successful FFA program without the support of  teachers, the administration, parents and business in the community. Maybe that is why FFA programs are so effective, because so many people are working together to help the FFA program.
