The Orioles tied the game at 3 in the bottom of the 7th inning when 8 batters came to the plate against Lakers starting pitcher, lefty Hunter Nelson.

Gavin Bergman battled against the recent Faribault High School graduate fighting off a couple of excellent pitches before delivering a bases clearing double on a 2-2 count to tie the game.

Following a meeting on the mound the Lakers intentionally walked cleanup hitter James Fuerniss.  Designated hitter Dan Ring then hit a single past shortstop Grote who dove but it was out of his reach.   Jandro charged the ball and threw to Dylan Valentyn at home who tagged Bergman out at the plate.

During the Bergman at bat with the bases juiced Valentyn probably saved two runs from scoring on balls he blocked in the dirt.

Langerud had a very good at bat that ended in a pop out but he fisted off pitch after pitch in the 7 pitch at bat.  Pierce connected with a 0-2 count pitch for a RBI single.

Joe Grote jumped on the first pitch and hammered his second 2 rbi double. He alertly went to third base on a throw to home plate.
