The Kenyon-Wanamingo FFA Alumni will be hosting a scholarship pancake breakfast Sunday morning at the Wanamingo Community Center. Serving will be 9AM to noon. There is no specific cost for the pancake breakfast but donations will be accepted. Any proceeds will be used to fund scholarships for Kenyon-Wanamingo FFA members continuing their education after high school. Many FFA programs in our area have active alumni associations. They do anything they can to help local FFA members.

Local Ag and FFA advisers have a big job with so many career development experiences (CDE's) or, as they used to be called, judging contests. It is almost impossible for one adviser to be an expert in all those areas. This is where the local Alumni Association helps with coaching and getting members to practices and contests. Most advisers have at least four classes and preps each semester plus applications to help members with. The list goes on. It is nice to see there are others in the community that are willing to help out to benefit the FFA members.
