'Best of Faribault' Awards Scam Emails

The Faribault Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism issued a scam warning this week about scam emails being sent out about a 'Best of Faribault' contest.

The President/CEO of the Faribault Chamber, Nort Johnson, sent out a press release about the incident which states the following:

We’ve been made aware of a solicitation in regards to The “Best of Faribault” Awards, through email. This is not a Chamber of Commerce award. Nominations are not currently open for our annual awards, and will be requested via email from Casie Steeves, (casie@faribaultmn.org) or via our website, (www.faribaultmn.org) Please disregard all emails that discuss 2020 Best of Faribault Awards in the category of Local Business.
