Will There Be a Rice County Fair This Year?

Will there be a Rice County Fair this year? That question may be answered on today's AM Minnesota Program. Rice County Fair Manager John Dvorak will be in studio for the program. Last month John mentioned there would not be a Premium book this year. It was impossible to talk with business because many were closed due to COVID-19.

The tough part is we do not know when the Shelter in Place and business closers will end. John told me last week he had talked with the owner of Goldstar Amusements and was told if there was a Rice County Fair they may be able to bring 8 rides instead of 29. I would still prefer a smaller Rice County Fair this year instead of no fair at all.
