Firefighters responded to a two alarm fire at a Rosemount aluminum recycling plant, Sunday night. The Rosemount Fire Chief Richard Schroeder said the fire started around 8:45PM.

Highway 55 reportedly was closed in the area due to smoke. Schroeder said that there was much damage to the plant and structural engineers will have to take a look at things as there was some heat damage to some bins.

It was reported that about 40 firefighters from six departments showed up to help put out the fire.
