Three Injured; One Transported After Highway 3 Crash Saturday
Three people were injured with one being transported to the Northfield Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a two-car crash on Highway 3 in Bridgewater Township on Saturday afternoon.
The crash was reported to the Minnesota State Patrol at 1:08pm yesterday afternoon. All three individuals in the crash according to the Minnesota State Patrol received non-life-threatening injuries with only one being transported from the scene.
The crash was reported on Highway 3 at the intersection of 130th St E. A 2007 Buick LaCrosse, driven by 75-year-old Kathleen Sutherland of Northfield, was driving northbound on Highway 3. A 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser, driven by 53-year-old James Larsen of Dundas, was driving southbound on Highway 3. The vehicles collided near the intersection of 130th Street East. Larsen was taken to Northfield Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A passenger in the PT Cruiser, 36-year-old Shawn Sisco of Mankato was also injured.
Also responding to the scene were the Rice County Sheriff's Office, North Ambulance, and Northfield Fire.
