Austin, MN (KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol is indicating alcohol may have contributed to a single-vehicle crash last night that sent a Rochester man to the hospital.

The crash report says 38-year-old Dale Gills was alone in an SUV when he lost control of the vehicle on an entrance ramp to I-90 in Austin. The State Patrol says the SUV struck a guardrail and then crashed into the ditch along the freeway.

The crash was reported at 8:40 PM and remains under investigation. Gills was transported to the Mayo Clinic Health System Hospital in Austin with non-life threatening injuries.
