Last year, there wasn't much going on in the months of March and April. This year looks like there will be some type of flea market/farmers markets that will be offered to those interested in participating/supporting these types of activities. Two that I know about are going to be here before we know it. The Rice County Historical Society's flea market will be happening this May, and Cannon Falls will be having an option for a Farmers Market at the Artisan Plaza this spring as well. Here is what we know about these two events.

The Rice County Historical Society flea market will happen on May 15th from 8am - 2pm at the Rice County Historical Society located at 1814 NW Second Ave. There are some changes with the event this year, to comply with COVID-19 guidelines. Some of the different things will be, that masks WILL be required and social distancing will be followed throughout the event. For more on this event, you can contact the RCHS Monday - Friday 9am to 4pm at 507-332-2121

The other event that is beginning to take shape is the Cannon Falls Farmers Market at Artisan Plaza.

Right now the Plaza is looking for vendors who are interested in participating this year. The market will run Saturdays from June through October beginning at 7:30am until 12:30pm. If you are interested in signing up to be a participant you are asked to contact David at 612-756-1751 or head to artisanplaza.com

The market will be held outside during those months, as there is still uncertainty around how many people would be allowed indoors with COVID-19 guidelines.

These are two SURE signs that SPRING is arriving in Minnesota!
