I know they are also in need of bell ringers.
I usually ring bells a couple of times during the holiday season. Once for the Faribault Lions and once just in honor of my parents because of their generous hearts.
The Salvation Army does a lot in terms of helping others.
They provide youth and adult programming, family counseling, health, older adult, housing or residence, domestic violence, correctional and disaster services.
Salvation Army also sponsors adult rehabilitation and worship centers.
Bell ringing typically takes place in Northfield, Lonsdale and Faribault.
For the first time last year I also rang bells in Lonsdale and it was amazing the number of people who knew me and who I knew in the community.
It was fun.
AM Minnesota is at 9:30AM.
