Heidi Nelson, Executive Director of Paradise Center for the Arts (PCA) told KDHL AM Minnesota listeners today they are 34 lifetime memberships away from their goal of 100.

Nelson says they have called the campaign "The 100 Club."  A lifetime membership is $2,500 per person. "It's wonderful for people right because there are no more dues. You know one of the smartest things is, we had a young couple become lifetime members because they said for them it was a win-win. No dues the rest of their lives.  It's rea;;u a great thing for people to be able to do."

"The 100 Club" was devised to raise the necessary $250,000 the PCA needs to raise to receive a matching amount from the City of Faribault to pay off their mortgage.

Nelson also talked about some upcoming events.  Friday, July 16, 2021 there is a "Summer Comedy Showcase" she pointed out, "Starts at 7:30 p.m.  Nathan Smesrud  and six fabulous comedians.  R-rated so leave those kids at home. Then the next thing that happens is "Super Duos" and that happens Friday, July 23, 7:30 p.m."

"Then the Merlin Players is doing a production of "Present Laughter" which should be just so much fun." Nelson added, "Tickets for Super Duos are $25 for non-members.  $20 for members so there you go, $15 for students.  Again, become a member of  Paradise Center for the Arts.  If you come to 10 shows you've paid for it because you get $5 off on your ticket."

"Summer Comedy Showcase" tickets are $20 per person across the board.  There are no student tickets because it is an adults only show."

There are no capacity limits anymore and Nelson stated, "We are busy almost every single weekend at the Paradise Center for the Arts.  There's something for everyone.  There's theater, there's music, comedy shows and we're looking forward to being back open and seeing people's smiling faces.  It's been wonderful the amount of support we've gotten."

Nelson went on to say, "If you don't want to become a lifetime member or a member of  The 100 Club there's lots of other ways to become a member.  It saves you money on your tickets. Gives you an opportunity to help us out.  An individual membership is $50 a year.  Family memberships only $75.  We have some of the lowest memberships rates in our area."

A business membership is $250.
