I know so many people who share their password for Netflix with a friend or family member. Apparently Netflix knows, and they are going to start to crack down on this....maybe.

I'm a little confused.  Like I have the streaming option. I get 2 screens with my option. So, how exactly would they know if I'm the one watching or not?  It seems like a super gray area.

This is what they have said about the "crack down":

In their third-quarter earnings interview on Wednesday, Netflix executives revealed that they are monitoring password sharing and are looking for ways to push back against it.  The streamer didn’t get into specifics, but this could present challenges for family members who live apart, romantic partners in long-distance relationships, and, of course, friends who have pooled their resources to make sure they have access to the various streaming platforms competing for your hard-earned dollar.

That's what I'm saying... how would they actually be able to monitor this?  I feel like there are so many variables that it would almost be impossible to actually track that situation unless one password is being used in multiple places at the same time.

Well, until this actually happens... share away... I guess.
