Best Buy Follows in Target’s Footsteps, Employees Can Now Wear Jeans
Eight months ago Target announced they were allowing employees to wear jeans to work. Now, Best Buy is following in their footsteps and, as of this Wednesday, allowing employees to wear black or blue jeans.
Of course these jeans have to look nice, have no rips, etc. Actually, this change in uniform is pretty major because, according to Bring Me the News, "Best Buy says it's the first 'major makeover' of the retail uniform since ... erm ... its last one six years ago, when it switched from khaki to black pants." Yikes.
Their keeping the blue Best Buy polos which, fun fact, have been the uniform since 1989. And good news for Geek Squad employees, they'll also be allowed to wear jeans unless they're in their white button-up and black tie attire.
