Waterville-Elysian-Morristown have two MSHSL State Individual Wrestling Champions.  Kenyon-Wanamingo has one with the Gopher Conference doing very well at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul Saturday.

Liam Sommer, freshman for Kenyon-Wanamingo won the 107 pound Class A title match 1-0 over Garett Bjerga, 8th grader from Staples-Motley.  Sommer was 44-5 this season.

Reed Sommer, senior, placed second at 127 pounds after losing to Carson Petry, senior, of Waterville-Elysian-Morristown by a major decision 12-3.  Sommer finished the season 45-6, Petry is 30-3 and State Champion.

Keegan Kuball, senior from W-E-M finished his 285 pound season with a championship over Jack Carlson of Goodhue in a 11-6 decision.  Carlson is a junior, finishes his season 46-5.  Kuball is 43-1.

Kaden Harfmann, senior of Medford placed 5th at 133 pounds following a medical forfeit.  HIs final record this year is 32-10.

Bo Zweiner, senior from Blooming Prairie placed second at 139 pounds after falling to Grey Gunderson of Kerhoven-Murdock-Sunburg by technical fall 4:34 (18-1).  Zweiner had a 34-3 record for the season with the Westfield Razorback which includes Blooming Prairie and Hayfield.

Caleb Kurtti, senior from Goodhue was 3rd at 215 pounds with a 2-1 win over Jacob Williams of Aitkin.  Kurtti was 45-3 on the season.

George Doherty, junior from LeSueur-Henderson finished 5th at 215 after defeating Jeremy Blascyk, senior of West Central Area-Ashby-Brandon-Evansville in a 10-0 major decision. Doherty finished his season 33-4.

Section 1A Team and State Class 1A second place Chatfield had nine wrestlers qualify to compete at the state meet.  They came home with one champion.

Carson Rowland, senior capped a 40-2 season with a 7-3 title match win over Sam Drietz, senior from Canby.

Jameson Priebe, Gopher freshman placed 5th at 107 pounds, Logan Pearson, freshman was 5th at 114 pounds, Javier Berg, senior, finished 3rd at 121 pounds, Alden Pearson, senior, 4th place at 145 pounds, Ayden Miner, senior, second at 160 pounds. Ben Carrier, senior, 3rd at 172.

Seven of the nine placing is a terrific accomplishment.

Section 1A representative Kane Larson of Fillmore Central-Lanesboro-Mabel-Canton is a State Champion at 172 pounds.  The junior capped his season with a 7-2 win over Cameron Halverson, junior of Barnesville.

In Class 2A Cannon Falls had two 3rd place finishers.  Owen Parish, 8th grader at 107 pounds ended a 48-4 season with a Tech Fall at 2:24 (17-2) over Carl Murray of Zumbrota-Mazeppa in the all H-V-L match.  Murray is a sophomore and finished with a record of 42-12.

Adam Parish, sophomore was 3rd at 127 pounds after defeating Kane Johnson, sophomore from New Ulm Area 1-0.  Parish ended his season 48-5.

Zumbrota-Mazeppa had some other gentlemen place at state.  Samuel Moore, sophomore was second at 114 pounds after losing title match by tech fall in the final period (18-2) to Lincoln Christenson, junior of Marshall who finished 45-2.  Moore had a 41-8 season.

Kasson-Mantorville was runner-up as a team and had a couple individuals place at state.  Aiden Friedrich, senior, was 6th at 133 pounds after falling to Jackson Refsnider , junior of Totino-Grace in a 16-3 major decision.

Jonah Coleman, junior, finished 3rd at 139 pounds with a 7-5 win over Ben Gunlogson, junior of Dawson-Boyd-Lac Qui Parle-Montevideo United.  Coleman had a 35-12 season.

Owen Friedrich, senior, placed 4th at 145 pounds and finished 38-16 for the year.

Aiden Burns, junior from Caledonia-Houston was 5th at 114 pounds, finishing 31-11.

Aiden Graner, junior of Plainview-Elgin-Millville placed 2nd at 145 pounds after falling in title match 8-1 to Landon Kujawa of Becker.  The senior finished his year 52-3 while Graner is 45-4.

Isaac Williams, junior from Scott West was 3rd at 152 pounds with a 49-6 record.

Henry Dohnalik of LaCrescent-Hokah placed 5th at 152.  The sophomore was 36-15.

Slade Barnett, junior from Waseca 5th at 160 pounds with a 46-6 mark.

Max Morgan, junior, Mankato East was 3rd place at 189 pounds with a 45-5 record.

Dylan Thomas of Scott West 4th at 189.  The senior finished year 34-4.

Tristan Holbrook, senior of Scott West was 4th at 215 pounds and ended his year 36-7.

Samuel Winkels of Austin, senior, placed second at 285 falling to undefeated senior Logan Bender of Chisago Lakes 5-1 in title match.

Class 3A individual state results include:

Kaden Lindquist, freshman of Owatonna was 4th at 107 pounds ending year 37-4.

Keith Harner, senior from Northfield was 6th at 139 pounds and ended year 43-11.

Zane Engels, sophomore of Northfield 4th place at 160 pounds finished 48-7.

Owen Murphy, senior from Northfield was 6th place at 189 pounds and finished 40-11.

Former Faribault Falcon Bo Bokman claimed 4th place for Lakeville South at 172 pounds finishing a 33-2 season.

Ethan Phanmanivong, junior, Shakopee was second at 107 pounds finishing 42-3.

Dylan St. Germain, senior, Eagan is State Champion at 114 pounds following a 40-3 season.

Liam Collins of Prior Lake, sophomore, was 6th finishing 37-4

Lawson Eller, senior, New Prague is State Champion at 121 pounds with a 43-3 season.  Anthony Heim, freshman of Shakopee placed 5th after going 42-6.

Logan Davis, senior, second at 127 pounds falling in title match to Brett Swenson, senior, Mounds View 4-2.  Davis ended year 48-4, Swenson 46-2.  Abram Anderson, junior of Rosemount finished 6th place with 36-3 mark.

Spencer Lee, junior, Eastview, placed 4th at 133 pounds with 41-10 record.

Davis Parrow, junior, Farmington second at 145 pounds losing to Charles Vanier, senior, Eden Prairie 4-2.  Parrow finishes season 44-2.  Vanier 39-1.

Calvin Miller, junior, Shakopee, 4th place at 145 pounds ended 13-5 season.

Calder Sheehan, senior, Rochester Mayo, 3rd place at 152 pounds to finish year 28-2.

Joseph Heim of Shakopee was 5th lace, the freshman tallied a 43-8 record.

Kyler Walters, junior of Shakopee finished second at 160 pounds, record 42-5.

NIck Korman, senior, Albert Lea Area 3rd place at 160 pounds had 29-5 season mark.

Zane Engels, sophomore, Northfield 4th place at 160 pounds, 48-7 season record.

Jackson Barron, junior, State Champion at 172 pounds finishing 35-5.

Tyler Ruff, sophomore, Lakeville North, 3rd place at 189 pounds with a 42-8 season record.

Blake Krause, senior, 5th place at 215 pounds, 41-3 season record.

Cole Will, senior, Eagan, State Champion 285 pounds with 15-1 record.  Caleb Loomis, Rochester Mayo, sophomore, 4th place finished 34-9.  Jack Bauer of Eastview, senior, 5th place, 37-7 record and Max Coles, senior, Shakopee 6th place with 20-6 mark.

A number of area girls placed at state.  No classes here.  Big schools and small schools all lumped together.

100 pound Champion is Adriana Kurtz, 7th grade, Triton, finished 15-1.

106 pound Champion is Azalea Kallal of New Prague, 8th grade, 19-0.  Isabelle Townley, senior, Owatonna finished 4th place 26-8.

112 pounds. Maggie Olson, sophomore, Albert Lea Area, 3rd place, 22-3. Hayden Hawkins, senior, Wabasha-Kellogg, 4th place, 29-4.

118 pounds Caley Graber, junior, Northfield, State Champion 10-0 record.  Trista Gessler, sophomore, Tri-City United, 4th place, 32-4.

124 pounds Ellie Westerman, sophomore, Eagan, second place, 28-8.  Andrea Quinones, freshman, Apple Valley, 3rd place, 41-2.

130 pounds Lauren Elsmore, junior, Pine Island, second place, 32-4.

136 pounds, Hattie Mathre, sophomore, Byron, second place 37-6.  Madelyn Jensen, freshman, Eagan, 5th place, 34-8.

142 pounds, Cassandra Gonzales, junior, Apple Valley, State Champion with 25-0 record.  Elle Eickoff, junior, Chatfield, 5th place, 30-9.

148 pounds, Aliah Fischer, freshman, Owatonna, 4th place, 23-7.  Eliana Callies, senior, Rochester Century, 6th place, 26-6.

155 pounds, Esperanza Calvillo, junior, Apple Valley, second place, 37-1.  Taniah Borney, sophomore, Eagan, 4th place, 24-7.

170 pounds, Belle Suchta, sophomore, Shakopee, State Champion, 19-1.  Chelsea Rodriguez, 8th grade, Rochester Mayo, 19-6.

190 pounds, Ella Pagel, senior, Northfield State Champion, 15-0 season record.  Olivia Martinez, 8th grade, Rochester Mayo, 5th place, 16-3.

235 pounds, Madi Hamilton, senior, Byron, 2nd place, 30-5.  Mila Carnahan, junior, Apple Valley, 3rd place, 22-16.
