Among the state's smallest schools the Medford Tigers have the highest ranking out of Section 2 at #7. In fact they are the only ranked team out of Section 2 in Class A. #2 Dover-Eyota, #10 Chatfield represent Section 1 among the Dirty Dozen with Caledonia/Houston, Kenyon-Wanamingo in the Lean and Mean.

A number of area teams are participating in events next weekend to open their season including the Faribault Falcons. Co-Head Coach Jesse Armbruster has agreed to join us tomorrow for the Coaches Show at Bashers to discuss the upcoming season for his team.
Faribault Will Wrestle Northfield for Section 1AAA Title Saturday
Faribault wrestles top seed Northfield 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Rochester Mayo Civic Center Arena with the winner advancing to the State Tournament in two weeks.
