MSHSL Section 1AA Softball Tournament Pairings
Class 2A top rated Randolph was awarded the #1 seeding in the Section 1AA Softball Tournament which opens Monday, May 20, 2024. The Rockets get a bye and will host either #8 Cannon Falls (10-8) or #9 Pine Island (8-8).
Randolph enters the playoffs with a 20-0 record. #2 seed Caledonia (18-2) dropped their season opener 6-5 to Cotter and fell 2-1 to Class 3A Stewartville.. The Warriors entertain #15 seed Lake City (2-16) on Monday, May 20, 2024.
#3 seed Dover-Eyota (14-6) has #14 Triton (3-16) come to Eagles country with #6 Chatfield (13-7) hosting #11 Rochester Lourdes (7-12).
#4 seed Zumbrota-Mazeppa (8-10) tangles with #13 Grand Meadow-Leroy-Ostrander-Kingsland (7-10) while #5 Cotter (14-6) hosts #12 Plainview-Elgin-Millville (4-16)
Randolph enters playoff action with a team batting average of ,357 with 193 hits including 78 extra base hits. The Rockets have scored 162 runs and only committed 12 errors all season.
