On Monday afternoon a pickup truck driven by a Faribault man collided with a motorcycle at the intersection of Highway 13 and Highway 60 in Waterville. The driver of the motorcycle suffered what the Minnesota State Patrol reported as non-life threatening injuries. 

In the Minnesota State Patrol report shortly after 2:15 in the afternoon on Monday a Harley Davidson motorcycle, driven by 55-year-old Thomas Goebel of Mankato, was traveling westbound on Highway 60 when it was struck by a Chevrolet Silverado in the intersection of Highway 60 and Highway 13 in Waterville.

At the time of the crash the Silverado, driven by 27-year-old Colby Ordal of Faribault, was stopped at the intersection of Highway 13 southbound and Highway 60. Goebel was taken to Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Rochester with non-life threatening injuries.

The road conditions at the time of the crash were reported to be dry. Responding to the scene of the crash along with the State Patrol were North Memorial Ambulance, Waterville Fire and Police Department, and the Le Sueur Sheriff's Office.
