118-acres doesn't sound small but apparently that's the size of Minnesota's smallest state park. It's called Franz Jevne State Park and it's in Northern Minnesota in a town called Birchdale.

Franz Jevne State Park runs along the Rainy River and you can see Canada from the park! Only in Your State says that the park is "about 40 miles west of International Falls and 20 miles east of Baudette."

They also say there's a nice 2-mile loop hike in this park and the Rainy River is popular for fishing. There's a total of 2.5 miles of trails, according to only in your state with amazing trees and wildlife.

And you don't have to worry about finding a place to stay if you make the trek up north, Franz Jevne State Park has campsites too!
