Fair Talk on AM Minnesota Today

Rice County Fair manager John Dvorak will be on today's AM Minnesota for the final in studio Fair Talk for 2017. John Dvorak will have daily segments with Gordy during the Midday Report out at the Fair. Yes, the Rice County Fair kicks off next Tuesday evening with the Rice County Fair Queen coronation. The past few weeks, John has had a guest to join us on AM Minnesota. Today the Rice County 4-H Program Coordinator, Kelly Chadwick, will be in studio too. It would not be a county fair without 4-H and it will be fun to talk with Kelly.

There is a lot of activity these days at the Rice County Fairgrounds as groups are getting their exhibits and food stands ready for the fair. The process for choosing the next Rice County Fair Queen is also underway. In the picture is the current Rice County Fair Queen Royalty, the 2017 Rice County Fair Queen contestants and judges, who were at the dinner at Bashers on Tuesday evening in Faribault. Also in the picture are David and Lynne Gross, who sponsor the Rice County Fair Queen scholarships.
