Leinenkugel's, a Chippewa Falls-based brewery, is a beloved one in Great Lakes Region, and it's most likely due to the fact that they have numerous beer varieties that appeal to a wide range of consumers.

This year, they decided to widen their allure and create a new sour beer for their line.

Juicy Peach, Leinenkugel's first session sour style beer, "balances delicious sweetness from natural peach juice with subtle tart notes," the brewery explains.

They go on to say:

"It is just tart enough to keep it interesting, but not overly sour, giving you the thirst-quenching, easy drinking flavor experience that is the perfect sweet pairing to balance out your next charcuterie board."

It sounds like a relatively light beer and sounds perfect for summer.

As you can see in the picture above, the beer has an ABV of 4.4% and an IBU of 10.

Juicy Peach is Leinenkugel's 10th year-round beer, meaning the beer is available all year (unlike my favorite Summer Shandy, which is only available in the warm months).

Leinenkugel's Year Round Beers:

  • Lemon Haze IPA
  • Honey Weiss
  • Berry Weiss
  • Dark Lager
  • Leinenkugel's Original
  • Leinenkugel's Light
  • Northwoods Amber
  • Canoe Paddle Kolsch

In addition, Toasted Bock, Chocolate Dunkel, and the Snowdrift Vanilla Porter are in stores and bars for purchase, but only for a limited time!

Jacob Leinenkugel founded his family brewery in May of 1867.

Today, sixth-generation family members continue to bring the same family-inspired recipes that Jacob worked to create. According to the website, their "family has grown and so has [their] brewery, but [their] history and heritage remain at the forefront."
