Is it because we've become used to it? Is it because of Minnesota Nice? Or maybe because we are actually the State of Hockey? Whatever the reason, a survey of NFL fans finds Minnesota Vikings fans are NOT sore losers. At least not too sore.

The folks with usbets.com surveyed over 2,000 professional football fans to come up with the conclusion that the supporters of the Dallas Cowboys are the sorest losers in the league.

In reporting their findings, usbets.com writes, "When it comes to the NFL, without a double some fans are sore losers if their team doesn't come out on top." And if a wager is involved, "the chances of accepting that loss with grace may be slim to none."

Minnesota ranked 18th on the list of the sorest losers. Interestingly enough, the Vikings quarterback and coach were also not in the top ten for sorest losers.

Sorest losers among coaches:

  1. Bill Bellichick of the New England Patriots
  2. Mike McCarthy, currently of the Dallas Cowboys
  3. John Harbaugh, coach for the Baltimore Ravens
  4. Pete Carroll, Seattle Seahawks
  5. Bruce Arians with Tampa Bay (last year's Super Bowl winner)

Sorest losers among quarterbacks:

  1. Tom Brady, New England and Tampa Bay (and now retired with seven Super Bowl championships)
  2. Aaron Rodgers with Green Bay (at least for the moment)
  3. Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys (Dallas is high on every list)
  4. Baker Mayfield with Cleveland (But you've got to love his commercials.)
  5. Ben Rothlisberger, Pittsburgh (but now retired)

These researchers state, Brady "is a winner and he's known for his incredible arm and ability to make a comeback, but when that comeback doesn't happen he may not be the most graceful loser."
