Byron Electrocution Victim Identified
Byron, MN (KROC AM News) - The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of the man who was killed at a Byron business Thursday.
First responders were called to Duke Aerial Equipment around 7:00 AM and discovered the victim had been electrocuted after the elevated boom he was operating came into contact with an overhead power line.
The victim has been identified as 37-year-old Anthony Streed of Rochester. He was employed as a mechanic at the business and was apparently testing the boom at the time of the accident.
