AM Minnesota Today Rice County Fair Recap

Rice County Fair manager John Dvorak will be my guest on today's AM Minnesota program. Normally John does not have all the numbers on grandstand attendance, parking and other events all analyzed yet. Because the Rice County Fair is a free fair, there is no way to get a hard number on attendance. However, just observing the parking lots on the fair grounds in the evening they always seemed to be almost full.

We did not see perfect weather this year at the Rice County Fair. It was very warm a couple of days and some rain, too. As soon as the rain was over, there were people back walking around at the fair. It sure was nice to get the grandstand events in this year. Last year I think every grandstand event was canceled because of the heavy rain. While fair week is busy, you are always sad when it is over. But, the 2018 Rice County Fair is only a year away!
