AM Minnesota: Rice County Fair Events

Rice County Fair Manager John Dvorak will be stopping by KDHL studios this morning for our monthly Fair Talk program. As we get even closer to the Rice County Fair, John will be on AM Minnesota every other week. The plan is to keep people informed about what is being planed for the 2017 Rice County Fair. The goal of Rice County Fair board members is to bring back popular attractions from previous years while at the same time bring in new events and attractions.

An example of that would be the NTPA Truck and Tractor Pull Saturday evening in the grandstand. For many years this has been a popular event. New this year is a big time rodeo. Friday evening it will be the Barnes PRCA Rodeo. Since 1950, Barnes PRCA Rodeo has been a leader in the rodeo production business. They have been family owned and operated since 1950.
