AM Minnesota Today From Farmfest

Today is the first day of Farmfest 2017 and my plan is to host today's AM Minnesota program from the Minnesota Corn Growers booth at Farmfest. There is always a lot to talk about with the Minnesota Corn Growers like renewable fuels, water quality, export demand, nitrogen management and many other topics. Farmer leaders are always there along with University of Minnesota scientists who are conducting some of the corn check-off funded research.

Notice I said my "plan" is to host today's AM Minnesota program from Farmfest. It has worked other years, but a few things have to go according to plan. John will take over for me a little early on the air and then I have to drive over Farmfest. I take the back county roads from St. Peter to Redwood Falls. It is a nice drive through the open countryside of Minnesota but it takes about an hour and 45 minutes.So, things have to go according to plan!
