Today on AM Minnesota, Gordy Kosfeld is out on assignment, so Paul Shea will be hosting the director of Minnesota's Gospel Opry Leroy Lundstrom on the phone as we hear about their concert this Friday night. The show will be at the Oak Grove Middle School Auditorium 1300 West 106th Street in Bloomington. Doors open at 6:30pm.

The Minnesota Gospel Opry will be welcoming in The Isaacs to the stage beginning at 7pm! The Isaacs have been described by the Minnesota Gospel Opry website as "A multi-award winning family group who began singing 35 years ago are based out of Hendersonville, TN."

The vocalists are mother Lily Isaacs and siblings Ben Isaacs, Sonya Isaacs Yeary, and Rebecca Isaacs Bowman. The group even plays their own acoustic instruments and are often joined by other band members.

The Isaacs have a unique style that blends tight family harmony with contemporary acoustic instrumentation that appeals to a variety of audiences. Their musical style has been influenced by many genres of music including bluegrass, rhythm and blues, folk, and country, contemporary, acoustic and southern gospel.

Make sure you tune in this morning at 9:30 for a very special edition of AM Minnesota featuring the Minnesota Gospel Opry. You can order your tickets to the show here.
