The Minnesota Department of Transportation is alerting drivers to a slow down on I-35 between Northfield and Elko. Many have already experienced it firsthand.

The Rice County Highway Department says they are ready to begin a busy construction season this week, weather permitting. Rice County Highway Engineer Dennis Luebbe says in a news release there are a number of projects they want to get done and here is the listing:
