Horses and Horse Power

This Friday is the third Friday of the month and that means it's time to head downtown to check out all the muscle cars and hot rods at the Faribault Main Street Car Cruise Night on Central Avenue in downtown Faribault.

This week the Rice County Free Fair also returns on Tuesday for another fun-filled week. So it's fitting that this Friday night's theme is Horses and Horse Power as the Rice County Free Fair begins on Tuesday and runs through this Sunday and there will be plenty of cowboys and cowgirls in town for the the Barnes PRCA Rodeo that same night. The Faribault Main Street Car Cruise Night starts at 6PM and goes until 9PM so bring your family and friends downtown and check out all the horsepower then gallop off to the fair for an evening of professional rodeo action starting at 7PM in the grandstand.

If you've got a street machine you'd like to show off, make sure you bring it down for everyone to enjoy. I'll be hangin' out and crankin' out the rock 'n' roll oldies and there will also be prizes with plenty of food and event t-shirts available for purchase.
