The Triton Cobras have had some pretty phenominal football teams over the years and even all those great teams, three of them state champs, they never scored as many points as they did last week.  78 points were rolled up against Dover-Eyota on the road.  Now Triton returns to the Snakepit to face the Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights on their new artificial turf.  K-W was stymied by a Pine Island team that Triton beat on the road in week two.  Kenyon-Wanamingo clearly has their work cut out for them.  Coach Don Henderson's Cobras are back to running more power plays offensively and always swarm to the football on defense.  That's where the Knights would like to be also, with good team speed they want to swarm to the football.  But any coach or player will tell you football games are won and lost in the trenches. Coverage starts at 6:45pm on the Mighty 920, kdhlradio.com and you can download the free Radio Pup app on your favorite mobile device.  I can smell those burgers now!
