Floodwaters Deluge Rice, Steele Counties [PHOTOS, VIDEO]
With the ground already saturated, this week's rain caused extensive flooding throughout southern Minnesota. In what seems to be becoming a pattern, Mother Nature isn't finished yet.
The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for northwestern Steele County, southeastern Dakota County, Rice County, southwestern Goodhue County, northeastern Waseca County and southeastern Le Sueur County
Waterville Wants Sandbaggers
According to a Facebook post, Waterville is seeking volunteers to help sandbag.
With more rain expected this weekend, the town expects floodwaters to continue to rise and wants help protecting areas endangered by rising water.
