Winter Storm Update
A winter storm watch is in effect until Wednesday afternoon for counties including Nicollet, Le Sueur, Rice, Dakota. Snow totals of 6-8 inches are possible in these areas. Lesser amounts to the north. But the storm track is still uncertain.
A winter storm warning is in effect from Tuesday afternoon until Wednesday afternoon for those counties across south-central and southwestern Minnesota. Snow totals of 8-10 inches are possible in the warning area.
You can identify the watch areas on the map below by those in blue. The pink areas are the warning area.
