Valleyfair Named One of the Most Affordable Theme Parks

Valleyfair, located in Shakopee, MN, has just been named one of the most affordable theme parks in the country. This ranking is based on the total cost of the trip.

HomeToGo is the site that put this list together. They looked at 50 different theme parks and came up with the top ten most affordable theme parks in the country.

They looked at a variety of variables to determine the total cost of a visit to each park. To determine the total cost they added the cost of parking, one adult ticket, a meal deal, and accommodation nearby.

Here are the top ten most affordable theme parks:

1. Frontier City (Oklahoma - total cost: $78.81)

2. Holiday World (Indiana - total cost: $83.94)

3. Quassy Amusement Park (Connecticut - total cost: $85.04)

4. Park at OWA (Alabama - total cost: $91.71)

5. Wild Adventures Theme Park (Georgia - total cost: $92.22)

6. Family Kingdom Amusement Park (South Carolina - total cost: $97.97)

7. Carowinds (North Carolina - total cost: $102.74)

8. Valleyfair (Minnesota - total cost: $105.45)

9. Kings Dominion (Virginia - total cost: $107.21)

10. Adventureland (Iowa - total cost: $111.49)
