It has been a number of years with low milk prices and high costs that have really put a lot of financial stress on dairy farmers. Then COVID-19 hit causing even lower milk prices and more hardship for dairy farm families. There are a number of programs, some State , Federal and others part of COVID-19 bills passed by Congress and signed into law by President Trump that can provide financial assistance specifically for Dairy Farmers.

The University of Minnesota Extension Service will be sponsoring a webinar titled Understanding 2020  Financial Programs for Dairy Farmers.
